How We Handle Your Data

Milletbay Enterprises processes personal data in accordance with the six core principles of GDPR Article 5.

We process data only on a lawful basis and always inform you how your data is used.

Data is collected for specified, explicit purposes and not further processed incompatibly.

We only collect data that is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary.

We take reasonable steps to ensure personal data is accurate and kept up to date.

Storage Limitation

Data is kept only for as long as necessary and deleted at the end of retention periods.

Appropriate technical and organisational measures protect data against unauthorised processing.

Milletbay Enterprises is responsible for and can demonstrate compliance with all GDPR principles.

We notify affected individuals and the relevant DPA within 72 hours of discovering a breach.

Right to Be Informed

When Milletbay Enterprises collects your data, we must inform you about who we are, what data we collect, why we process it, how long we keep it, and who we share it with. This is fulfilled through our Privacy Policy. If we obtain data from a third party rather than directly from you, we must inform you within one month.

Right of Access

You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether Milletbay Enterprises processes your personal data, and if so, to receive a copy of that data. This includes information about the purposes of processing, categories of data, recipients of the data, the storage period, and your rights. We provide this free of charge within 30 days.

Right to Rectification

You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected without undue delay. You may also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by providing a supplementary statement. We will inform any third parties to whom the data has been disclosed of the rectification.

Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

You have the right to request that your personal data be erased when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, you withdraw consent, you object to processing and there is no overriding legitimate interest, or the data has been unlawfully processed. Note that legal retention obligations (e.g. tax records) may override this right for specific data categories.

Where processing is based on consent or contract, and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (such as JSON or CSV), and to transmit that data to another controller. You may also request that we send your data directly to another controller where technically feasible.

Right to Object

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests or the performance of a public task. We must stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing is for the establishment or defence of legal claims. You may always object to processing for direct marketing purposes — we will stop without requiring justification.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with a DPA

If you believe that processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — particularly in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. This right exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve your concern directly.
